GVAL’s members put up a fun event at Hillside Centre to celebrate literacy. There were lots of fun activities for all ages.

A big thanks to Hillside Centre and Bolen Books for allowing us to use their premises!

Big hits were Story Studio’s story walks, the Superheroes of Victoria’s story time in superhero gear, Victoria Stamp Club’s stamp kits, Little Libraries actual little library giveaway, Dolly Parton Imagination Library book door prizes and Victoria Literacy Connection’s penpal post cards typed on an actual typewriter.
